University of Rajasthan Admission Test for Postgraduate Courses in short it is known as URATPG. The University of Rajasthan (popularly known as Rajasthan University) conducts the URATPG (University of Rajasthan Admission Test for Postgraduate Courses) to provide admission to candidates in postgraduate courses offered by it. Courses in the Streams Humanities, Management, Teaching, Law, Science, IT & Software, Commerce, Arts (Fine/ Visual/ Performing), Mass Communication, Banking & Finance Etc. To get enter in Rajasthan University admission process through URATPG exam requires choosing a subject (maximum five) for the test, at the time of registration.

URATPG 2018 Application Form
To registered candidates needs to fill application. Visit the official website of the exam and register themselves for URATPG in the online mode. Candidates have to fill details in URATPG registration form are the name, father’s name, date of birth, category, and a number of subjects. Before applying read all details given in prospectus properly. Fill and submit the application before the due date.
Once registration is done, candidates need to pay URATPG 2018 application fee. an online mode such as (net banking/debit card/credit card) through ICICI payment gateway. For candidates for one subject and who is General & Other Categories have to pay Rs. 500, SC/ ST Category Rs 400, Two subjects Rs 700 ,Rs 550, Three subjects Rs 900 Rs 700, Four subjects, Rs 1,100 , Rs 850 ,and for Five subjects Rs 1,300 , Rs 1,100
The application form should be filled as well as submitted in the online mode on the official website of the exam. However, they are advised to keep the print copy of the filled online application for their own reference informs the official website.
Step 1: Register for URATPG
Primarily, candidates need to register for the exam on the official website of the university. For the same, candidates need to click on the Register for Application button and enter details such as name, father’s name, date of birth, category, and a number of subjects.
Once successfully registered, candidates can proceed towards next step of URATPG application process.
Step 2: Pay URATPG Application Fee
Next, candidates need to pay URATPG 2018 application fee in online mode (credit card/ debit card/ net banking) through ICICI payment gateway.

Note: Candidates can apply for maximum five subjects in the exam by paying the application fee as mentioned above.
Step 3: Fill URATPG Application Form
Once a fee is successfully paid, candidates will be redirected to the online application form of URATPG 2018. Some of the details that candidates need to fill in the form are:
- Personal details such as name, parents’ names, date of birth, gender, nationality, etc
- Contact details such as address, mobile number, and email ID
- Education details of Class X, XII, and last qualifying exam such as subjects studied, marks secured, name of the institution, etc
Once all details are filled, candidates can click on the Submit button to submit their forms. Thereafter, URATPG application process will be complete.
URATPG 2018 Eligibility
URATPG Eligibility for Law Courses LLM candidate have to secure 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH) in Bachelor of Law degree exams or PG Law Diploma exams in LLM (Human Rights & Value Education)PG Diploma in Labour Law candidates should have Bachelors of Law degree exam , in MA exam in Sociology/ Economics/ Social Work/ Psychology/ Public Administration by aggregate 48% marks and with a paper relating to Labour Laws as part of their exam. Or in the MCom exam in EAFM/ Business Administration or MBA exam candidates have to secure at least 48% marks in aggregate and a paper relating to Labour Laws as part of the MCom/ MBA course
URATPG 2018 eligibility criteria for admission in different law courses offered by the university is as mentioned below:

URATPG 2018 Pattern
According to URATPG exam pattern, the question paper will contain a total of 70 multiple choice questions. The paper should be completed in 75 minutes (1 hour and 15 minutes). Questions asked will be based on the syllabus subject. From subject General Awareness question ask will be 10 and in Candidate’s respective subject 60. A total mark of paper is 70. Candidates will be given one marks for each correct answer in the exam. There is no negative marking for a wrong answer in the exam.
- URATPG 2018 exam pattern is such that the question paper will contain a total of 70 multiple choice questions that candidates need to complete in 75 minutes (1 hour and 15 minutes).
- Questions will be based on the subject for which a candidate is giving the exam as well as General Awareness.
- Marking scheme: One mark is awarded for each correct answer in the exam. There is no negative marking for a wrong answer in the exam.
- It may be noted that admission in all PG courses offered at Rajasthan University is done on the basis of URATPG exam (70% weightage) as well as academic merit (30% weightage) of the qualifying examination. However, the exception is for courses offered under the faculty of Law.
- Admission of candidates seeking admission in law courses is done basis their marks scored in URATPG exam only.

URATPG 2018 Admit Card
Candidates can download their URATPG admit card from the official website of Rajasthan University as per the scheduled date. When it gets downloaded, candidates need to take a printout of the admit card and fix a recent self-attested photograph on it. All candidates have to carry there admit card (along with a photo ID proof) to the selected in URATPG test center in the PG exam.
URATPG 2018 Results
Authority of Rajasthan University will declare URATPG result on its official website once the written exam is over. Candidates can download their result from the online mode in official website by filling either their Form Number (application number, mother’s name, date of birth) or General Detail (name, parents’ names, date of birth) etc. All who wants to apply have to keep print copies of result for admission process.
