UPSC NDA 2017: Good news for the students who were waiting for the NDA NA 2 Exam Application Form. UPSC has released the NDA notification. About NDA Exam:
NDA exam is conducted to select people for National Defence Academy. This academy trains young people to become officer in air force, navy or army.
This is the best platform to have a successful career in defence. The exam happens twice a year. One can fill application for both.
Union Public Service Commission is the organizer of the examination. The selection round after the exam is conducted by SSB.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA & NA:
We will talk about the education, age restriction and physical standards here. If a candidate fails in any of these parameters, he/she will be rejected.
One need to provide age proof, so don’t try to submit application with false details. Application with incorrect details or lack of document will not be accepted.
Educational qualification: 12th pass or equivalent is required for this job. Students appearing in 12th class can also apply. Only the students with physics and maths as subject in 12th can apply for air force academy or Naval Aviation.
Age limit: People born between 2nd January 1999 and 1st January 2002 only are eligible. The two dates are inclusive.
Physical standards: UPSC recommend height, chest and eye sight as condition for eligibility. Read about the minimum requirements in the notification. Download it form the link below.
Process of Selection in UPSC NDA:
NDA exam is the first stage of selection only. SSB and medical examination will follow it. Each stage is qualification based only.
This means that in order to proceed to the next stage, one should clear the previous round. SSB is a 5 day interview camp.
It will test both physical and mental strength of the applicant. Finally, the medical examination will check if the candidate is physically fit.

How to fill the form:
Get your recent photo, signature and educational certificates scanned before proceeding further. All candidates must keep in mind that the size and dimension of the image must be as instructed.

- Next, click on UPSC NDA NA 2017.
- After that, click on “Apply Online” link.
- Now click on Part -1.
- Here you need to fill your details and you will get login details after that.
- After registration, proceed to the next part.
- Now pay the application fee and upload the files in this part.
- Finally review everything and submit the application before last date.
NDA NA Notification:
A lot of people make mistakes in their application and submit it. Later when they realize their mistake they send multiple application which leads to rejection.
Therefore you should always review all the details at least twice before submission. Also keep a printout of the application for reference in future.
