The General Medical Council is an independent organisation that helps to protect patients and improve medical education and practice across the UK. But have you ever wondered how the GMC impacts on a doctor’s day-to-day work? And what happens if something goes wrong? If you are a medical student or thinking about studying medicine as a second degree, come and find out more. You will hear from the Chair of the General Medical Council, Terence Stephenson, who will be speaking alongside David Grimshaw, Co-Chair of the Thames Valley ARCP Committee in General Practice and GP appraiser, who will share his experience of working on the medical frontline.
