Department of Health and Family Welfare Punjab is inviting online applications from female candidates only for admission to General Nursing & Midwifery Course (GNM) for academic courses 2018-2019. Presently there are 7 schools of Nursing established by Punjab Government to impart training to girls through Diploma Courses in General Nursing and Midwifery of 3 years duration. Admission shall be made on the basis of merit (marks secured by the candidate in 10+2 examination).
How to apply for Punjab General Nursing and Midwifery Courses admission 2018
Online Application Form will be available at http://www.pbgnmadmissions.com in July, 2018. For assistance in filling up the online forms, you may contact Principal of the nearest GNM School. Application fee of Rs. 400 (Rs. 200 for SC/ST) can be submitted through demand draft as mentioned below.
Send the complete applications along with attested copies of requisite certificates, two recent unattested passport size photographs and Demand Draft of Rs. 400 for General Category and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST category only should be sent in favor of Medical Superintendent, Civil Hospital, Jalandhar or Principal, School of Nursing, C.H. Jalandhar through registered post to School of Nursing, S.B.L.S. Civil Hospital, Jalandhar on or before the last date specified. By hand Applications will not be entertained.

Punjab General Nursing and Midwifery Courses admission 2018 eligibility criteria
Age limit- Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years on 31.12.2017. There is no age bar for ANM/LHV.
Educational qualification– Candidate must have passed 10+2 class passed preferably with Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks and up to matric, Punjabi is compulsory. However candidates passed 10+2 with Arts and 10+2 with English in vocational ANM Course from the school recognized by
Indian Nursing Council can also apply for same. Applicant must be registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
