List of Exams Conducted by SSC

Combined Graduate Level Examination: Popularly known as SSC CGL, Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate Level Examination every year. SSC conducts this exam to recruit staff to various posts in various Government Departments and Institutions. The recruitment is for Group B and Group C posts.

Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 10+2 Examination: This is also a very popular exam of SSC. This gives an opportunity to students to get a government job at a very young age just after 10 + 2. The CHSL Exam is conducted for recruitment of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators (DEO), Lower Divisional Clerks (LDC), and Court Clerk under various government organizations.

Multitasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination: This exam is for 10th passed students. The age limit is from 18 to 25 years. SSC conducts the Multi-Tasking Staffs (MTS) Exam every year. The MTS exam is for recruitment of Peon, Messengers, Sweepers, Operators, Guard, Gardener etc.
